WHAT IS IPL?
IPL means Intense Pulsed Light and uses the most effective light spectrum (not to be mixed with laser)
to remove or reduce skin conditions.
It is harmless, painless, gentle and no ablative (not damaging the surface on the skin) treatment. The intense
light is delivered to the deeper parts of the skin and leaves the superficial aspect of the skin untouched.
It’s used for permanent hair removal and to treat skin problems like wrinkles, freckles, spots, superficial veins etc.
SKIN TREATMENT
This treatment is suitable for both face, neck, décolletage, hands and legs. Suitable for IPL treatment are
unevenly pigmented, sun-damaged skin with hyper pigmentation, age pigment spots on the hands, pronounced freckles,
flat brown sunspots, wrinkles, superficial veins etc. The treatment is suitable for all different skin types both
for women and men.
GENERAL INFORMATION
In order to effectively treat the skin should be as white as possible and sunbathing is not allowed 2 weeks before
and after treatment. Some people can get a slight redness and/or swelling of the skin. Both however disappear after a few hours.
Skin juvenation package is 5 treatments with 3-weeks interval. All other treatment depending on the scale of the skin
condition.
Isolated minor sun-damage usually requires only occasional treatment. More extensive pigmentation changes require
repeated treatments. After treatment the pigmentation may darken which fade away within
7-14 days. Treatment repeated at
approximately
3-4 weeks apart.
IMPORTANT
People with risk of thrombosis, severe circulatory disorders or venous diseases are not treated.
The same if you are taking medication that increases the light sensitivity of the skin like antibiotics or steroids.
